Installation Considerations
· The ptfe lined rubber expansion joint should be installed in accordance with the piping construction drawings and installation instructions.
· Expansion joint installation pipeline must be properly oriented and fixed in order to make the role of compensation, thus guiding and fixed bracket settings must be in strict accordance with relevant technical data of design department. For the principle of guidance and fixed bracket setting, please see "Bellows Installation Guide."
· PTFE corrugated tube in compensators is formed of thin-walled stainless steel plate, so do not tap, scratch, arc, weld ,spatter carefully to avoid bellow damage during transportation, loading and welding.
· Clean ptfe bellows and inner pipeline to ensure the normal movement of the bellows .
· For special flow required compensators, should install according to medium flow arrows requirements .
· In order to make the bellows work in good condition, the compensator can’t installed caused by axial, lateral, distortion and other installation errors to adjust position of piping deviation.
· After the ptfe rubber compensator installed ,remove all yellow painted transport tie rods before the system running.
