DN80-300MM PTFE Lined Flexible Metal Hose
PTFE lined metal hose assemblies are constructed of stainless steel external braid, stainless steel corrugated inner core and end flanges.
The braided reinforcement is installed over the metal hose,then heliarc welded to the metal hose with a stainless braid ring. The stub end is butt welded to the metal hose and braid creating the overall finished length of the assembly.
PTFE liner is inserted through the inside diameter of the hose and locked into place.The liner is flared over the face of the stub end becomes the sealing gasket of the hose assembly.The smooth inner surface of PTFE acts as a barrier between the media and the stainless steel core.The metal hose allows the smooth PTFE liner to have a smaller bend radius without kinking.It also supports the PTFE liner and helps keep it from collapsing in vacuum applications.
The face to face PTFE fluoropolymer tube provides a bacteria free, crevice free contact surface for easier cleaning and less flow resistance.
